WHO AM I ?
My name is Anne. Born and raised in Brazil, daughter to the most wonderful parents a girl could ever ask for. Proud to be half Brazilian, half English.
This blog is my escape. A little piece of the last decade in living with a life-threatening illness called Vasculitis (GPA).
Im recently married to the most wonderful, kind and supportive husband.
I dream of soon becoming a mother. A task which we're not entirely sure will be possible after years of immunosuppressants and chemo.
Whilst a dream is a dream, it is what keeps me going. Its what motivates me and its the biggest drive behind me aiming for a healthier, stronger, chemo free life.
This blog is aimed at others who are struggling with a chronic illness. For those who are newly diagnosed and wish to know about the good, the bad and the ugly that this illness has to throw at us. Whilst my first few posts are dark as I explain my diagnosis, the aim is primarily to share a little positive inspiration and show a little of the healthy life Im living today.
